Description

This is South Africa's favourite version of boerewors with a 70/30 ratio of meat to fat and made from beef and pork. The higher fat content gives a more juicy feel to the boeries as well as enhancing the flavours of the spices. Each package contents should contain 505g. A small variance may occur due to machine tolerance.

Fire Chilli:      Contains medium heat chilli.
Kameelhout: A different mix ratio of the spices.

Please note: 2 ice-packs will be automatically added to any frozen product purchase.

Allergens:
May contain gluten in the spices, i.e. soy wheat gluten. Check spice ingredients here.

Important:
Local: We ship only from Monday to Wednessday and not where the Thursday or Friday is a public holiday. Orders received after 17:00 on Tuesday will be sent the following Monday.
International: Mondays only. Orders received on Monday will be sent the following Monday. We will only use DPD for international orders of boerewors.

Please ensure that someone is available to receive the goods. Returned goods will be charged for including the return delivery fees.

Hi Saffa Shop just dropping a message to say thanks for our order and the very generous extras. The cheese boerewors was really spectacular. We did a kilo for dinner on the charcoal in spite of the cold weather. We just could not wait and it was so so good. Fantastic in my opinion! I think that the spice mix is just right. The ratio of fat to meat is also spot on - on the braai, it cooks well in its own juices and the end product is spot on! I have at least three pack in the freezer should the urge appear to Nou gaan ons braai! Simply fantastic Kit! juices and the end product is spot on! Had a great experience and pleasant surprise for the guests at our braai when letting them taste the traditional Boerewors :) liked by all, and all South Africans confirmed that it felt like home. I bought some traditional boerewors and was extremely pleased with the wors (it tasted like home - juicy, not overspiced, delicious!), and very chuffed with the professional, friendly service! This a really good boerewors. It has a lot of flavour, it is coarse, and it is juicy. Even the initial impression when one takes it out the freezer is good. The meat has a red colour, not a grey colour. What I would like to try is to put some finely cubed spek in the wors - just for a slightly chunky feel. I would rate this 4.5*. As i was harsh with the other product, I wll be generous with this one and give it five. No doubt there will be those that disagree and will give only 4*. :) good.
