Droëwors - Chilli

  One of my favourite foods is curry and rice - the way mom made it - the minced meat style. Many years ago, I invited mom and dad for dinner and I made curry and rice - just the way she makes - except I added a little heat. She didn't notice that she was eating something a little spicy until after about a minute. She loved it. :) Yesterday, I gave our neighbour (who doesn't like spicy foods) just 1 stick ("no, lunch is almost ready, I must go eat") of our new Chilli Droëwors. I too had a stick. This too, takes about until the end of the stick before the (mild) heat turns up. But then even after he was finished and had a few mouthfulls of beer, he commented that his mouth was still getting hotter. This was almost the same comment from another customer who said, "You don't notice you're eating something hot... until you stop." Folks... this is it!! It's mild, it takes a while for you to notice that it's spicy... it's brilliant (just like my curry). :) curry and rice - just the way she makes - except I added a little heat.
